House clearance in Dublin: what to expect

How a proper house clearance works in Dublin – probate, charity donations, licensed disposal and a clean handover.

Most Dublin house clearances we do fall into three categories: a bereavement, a probate sale, or a refurb. The job is the same – sort, donate, recycle, dispose, leave it clean – but the pace is very different.

How a proper clearance works

  • Free visit first to walk the house and quote
  • Family chooses what to keep before anything moves
  • Usable furniture and clothes to local charities (we partner with several)
  • Recycling at licensed facilities, with paperwork if you need it
  • Final clean so the house is ready to sell or let

Indicative pricing

1-bed flat: €400–€800. 2-bed: €600–€1,200. 3-bed: €900–€1,800. 4-bed: €1,400–€2,800. Larger or hoarded properties get a custom quote after a site visit. All-in, including disposal fees, transport and labour.

Things people forget to ask

Are you licensed waste carriers? Can you provide a waste-transfer note? Will you go in the attic and shed? We say yes to all three.
