Moving to Navan: schools, neighbourhoods, what to know

The biggest town in Meath and one of the fastest-growing in Ireland. Here's the version locals would tell you.

Navan has grown more than any town in Meath in the last twenty years, and there are reasons. Decent schools, good road links, prices that still beat south Dublin.

Neighbourhoods

Johnstown, Windtown and the older parts of the town centre suit walkers. The newer estates off the Athboy and Kells roads suit families with cars.

Commute and amenities

M3 puts you in north Dublin in 35 minutes off-peak, 60 to 75 minutes in rush hour. Two big shopping centres, decent restaurants, a strong GAA scene.
